Ghana-based club, Dreams FC, are in poll position to make history in this seasons’ CAF Confederations Cup tournament.

Dreams FC has become the first Ghanaian football club in 20 years to reach the semi-finals of the CAF Confederations Cup.
The first leg of the semi-finals clash between Dreams FC of Ghana and Zamalek of Egypt ended in a goaless draw after a very great display.

Although the game was solely controlled by the Egyptian based side, Dreams FC showed resilience and made sure they held did not concede despite the high level of pressure they faced in the game.

Dreams FC will return to Ghana to play in the second leg of the semi-finals clash against Zamalek at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in a week time.
In the event Dreams FC is able to eliminate Zamalek, they will become the first Ghanaian club in two decades to make it to the finals of the CAF Confederations Cup.
Moreover, Dreams FC stand the chance of becoming the first club in Ghana to win the CAF Confederations Cup since the first edition was won by Accra Hearts of Oak.
