Nigerian disk jockey, Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, has announced the passing of her beloved maternal grandmother.

The billionaire heiress shared the heartbreaking news with her fans and followers, expressing her grief and finding solace in the belief that her grandmother is now “in heaven.”

Taking to her X handle, the grieving music star wrote: “My mummy’s mother has passed away. I’m finding comfort knowing she’s in heaven, looking down on us with love.

What a life she lived!” She went on to express her gratitude for her grandmother’s profound influence on her family, particularly in raising her mother, who played a significant role in shaping her own life”.

In a heartfelt tribute, DJ Cuppy emphasized the enduring spirit of her grandmother, saying, “Grandma Kaduna, your spirit lives on, guiding and comforting us #RIP.”
