American football wide receiver, Elijah Moore has been traded by the New York Jets on Wednesday, March 22, 2023.

According to reports, Elijah Moore has been traded to the Cleveland Browns by the New York Jets. He is likely to be replaced by Mecole Hardman who is a former Kansas City Chiefs wideout.

“The Jet sent Moore and their 2023 third-round pick (No. 74 overall) to the Browns for their second-round pick (No.24). The Jets now have two second-round picks (Nos. 42 and 43), which they can use as ammunition in their attempts to acquire Rodgers from the Green Bay Packers,” reports said.

In October 2022, Moore reportedly requested a trade because he was not enjoying his role in the offense position. However, the Jets shared that they would not be able to accept his request and went on to bench him that week during their match against Denver Broncos.

This affected him gravely as his numbers in the season were disappointing. He had 37 catches, 446 yards and one toucdown.
