Nico Harrison’s deep-seated passion for basketball is a defining characteristic of his life. As a child, he displayed a genuine love for the sport and actively participated in basketball during his formative years.

While Nico Harrison’s love for basketball was evident from a young age, his journey took a significant turn in the ninth grade.

Nico Harrison’s commitment to pursuing a future in basketball influenced his educational choices.

He chose to attend Tigard High School in Oregon, recognizing the school’s reputation for basketball excellence.  Harrison played collegiate basketball for both the United States Army Black Knights and the Montana State Bobcats.

He also played professional basketball for five years, with stops in Belgium, Japan, the Continental Basketball Association, and Lebanon.

While Nico Harrison’s early years were marked by his active participation in basketball, he transitioned from being a player to becoming a prominent figure in the front office of the sport.

Nico Harrison is currently the president of basketball operations and general manager of the Dallas Mavericks
