Did CERN create a black hole?
The creation of black holes at the Large Hadron Collider is very unlikely. However, some theorists suggest that the formation of tiny quantum black holes may be possible.
Why is CERN doing this?
CERN’s work is to uncover what the universe is made of and how it works. They do this by providing a unique range of particle accelerator facilities to researchers to advance boundaries of human knowledge.
