In a recent TV interview, the experienced musician D’banj discussed the difficulties of fame and how he deals with enthusiastic female admirers. D’banj mentioned that even though some women show interest, he pays no attention to it.

When asked if women often approach him, D’banj acknowledged it but emphasized that he ignores such advances, stating that he considers himself unavailable to them.

D’banj’s journey to stardom began with hits like “Tongolo,” and he became the first Nigerian artist to debut on the UK Singles Chart with “Oliver Twist.” He is best known for his song “Oliver Twist,” an uptempo dance fusion of Afrobeats and electronic dance music that topped the African charts in 2011.
D’banj founded Mo’ Hits Records with producer Don Jazzy. Beyond music, D’banj has ventured into entrepreneurship, securing endorsements with global brands like Sony and Cîroc.
D’banj debut album, “No Long Thing”, was released in 2005, and it yielded several singles, including the breakthrough lead single “Tongolo”.
