Earlier this year, Davido had hosted Portable during his visit to the United States, showering him with gifts and money.
However, upon returning to Nigeria, Portable began to criticize Davido on social media.
Portable was upset about advice Davido had given him. Davido had suggested that Portable sign with Empire label instead of Sony.
Portable believed that Sony would offer him better international exposure and help him in his quest for a Grammy award. Feeling that Davido’s guidance was unhelpful, Portable expressed his disappointment publicly.

In response to what he saw as ungrateful behavior, Davido chose to unfollow Portable on Instagram.
The fallout between the two artists has drawn attention from their fans, who have been following the drama closely.
Portable gained widespread attention with his hit single “Zazoo Zeh,” featuring Olamide and Poco Lee, which became a viral sensation.
Portable’s music often reflects the gritty realities of street life and resonates with a wide audience. Despite his controversial persona, he has managed to carve out a niche in the Nigerian music scene, collaborating with various artists and consistently releasing popular tracks.
