Nigerian Afrobeats singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has responded after being called out by his colleague, Portable, for allegedly giving him ‘bad advice’ during their recent dinner in the United States.

According to reports, Portable recently expressed his frustration, claiming that Davido, who is signed with Sony Music, advised him against joining the label and instead urged him to sign with Empire. Portable, known for his hit single ‘Zazu,’ felt that this advice was misleading, as he is also aiming for a Grammy like Davido. He suggested that signing with Empire might not help him achieve that prestigious award.

In response to Portable’s accusations, Davido has unfollowed him on Instagram. A check of their respective Instagram accounts on Thursday evening confirmed that the DMW boss has indeed unfollowed Portable.
Portable had previously raised concerns that some people were attempting to create a rift between him and Davido. He stated that certain individuals were “pushing” him to fight with Davido, but he refused because the DMW boss had helped him in the past.
