Davido Meets Precious at Madison Square Garden as Knicks Defeat Nets in NBA Match

Nigerian singer Davido attended a basketball game between the New York Knicks and the Brooklyn Nets at Madison Square Garden.

The Knicks won the game 111-107, with Jalen Brunson’s second-half performance being crucial. The Nets had a 63-54 lead at halftime, but the Knicks caught up in the third quarter, thanks to Brunson and OG Anunoby’s impressive play.

Davido was introduced to the crowd during the game, and after the game, he met with two Nigerian basketball players, Precious Ezinna Achiuwa and Ogugua “OG” Anunoby Jr, who both play for the New York Knicks.

Davido will perform at Madison Square Garden on April 17, 2024, as part of his Timeless Tour.

In recent years, more famous Nigerian musicians have been able to perform as the main act at Madison Square Garden. For example, Wizkid performed in November 2022, and Burna Boy made a historic appearance in April 2022.
