Singer, Davido, has stated that his current popular slang ‘e choke‘ seems to be getting ‘out of hand.’

The music star started using the slang in his posts and videos a few months ago and it was later grabbed by his fans and it has now since become arguably the most popular slang which is used by almost everyone.
However, Davido now feels that the slang is being overused.
In a tweet he shared yesterday, the singer complained that the slang is getting out of hand and it is making him think of getting it copyrighted.
“Gotta get ‘e choke’ copyrighted it’s getting outta hand,” he tweeted.

Davido’s complaint is coming a few days after his music rival, Wizkid, shared a video in which he was heard using the slang.
This has got people believing that it is because Wizkid used the slang, that is what has triggered Davido’s reaction and him claiming, it is ‘getting out of hand.’
