David Ornstein, the sports journalist at The Athletic, has disclosed that Manchester United are interested in signing French promising forward called Michael Olise.

David Ornstein stated that the Red Devils are looking to bolster their right wing position before the start of next season as they hope to compete for silverwares in the upcoming season.
David Ornstein added that the £60 million release clause on Olise’s contract will probably be triggered in the coming week in order for the French winger to join them to their preseason tour.

Michael Olise is a left-footed right winger who has played for Crystal Palace since 2021 and is known to be one of the top-rated young wingers in the Premier League.
Prior to playing for Crystal Palace, Olise played for the youth sides of Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester City, as well as the senior team of Reading.
Manchester United’s right wingers currently are Antony dos Santos and Amad Diallo. These two individuals are not players who command numbers and dictate the pace of games, hence, the Red Devils need an additional player there.
