Recent reports from Italy indicate that Serie A side Fiorentina is currently leading the chase for De Gea. The Italian club is eager to secure his signature before the 2024-2025 Serie A season begins on August 17.

Fiorentina currently has four goalkeepers: Vannucchi, Martinelli, Christensen, and Terracciano. De Gea would represent a significant upgrade with his extensive experience.

De Gea will have to reduce his wage in order to fit in the financial situation of Fiorentina.
