DanTDM whose real name is Daniel Robert Middleton was born on 8 November 1991 in Aldershot, England. He is the elder son of two siblings. Not much is known about his parents, however, his father worked in the army.

DanTDM’s parents got divorced when he was very young. As per his educational background, DanTDM attended the University of Nottingham.

DanTDM is currently married to her longtime girlfriend, Jemma Middleton whom he met in school. The couple got married on 17 March 2013 and have a son called Asher.
