In a recent open discussion, the well-known influencer Daniel Regha made it clear that he doesn’t hold any personal grudge against the Nollywood actress, Toyin Abraham. This clarification came after he rejected an invitation from Toyin Abraham in July 2023, following his negative critique of her film “Ijakumo”.

Despite his respect for the actress, he expressed his disagreement with her support for the current government, especially in the aftermath of the EndSARS protest. This stance, he believes, contradicts his principles.

In a recent episode of the podcast “Backyard Yarns”, another prominent influencer, Omotara Akanni, described Daniel Regha’s comments and actions as a form of bullying. Daniel Regha, however, insists that he doesn’t harbor any hatred towards the actress, but he doesn’t hold her in high regard either, based on his opinions about her.

He was particularly upset because he wasn’t one of the first people to watch the movie, even though many others had already shared their views on it. Nevertheless, he borrowed the movie from a neighbor, watched it, and shared his critique.

Daniel Regha: I don’t regard Toyin Abraham but I always watch her movies by collecting it from my neighbor.
