Benedicta Elechi, wife of Daddy Freeze, has addressed allegations of adultery involving her ex-husband, Paul Odekina, and the controversial OAP.

This comes after the Court of Appeal upheld a N5M fine against Daddy Freeze for depriving Odekina of his wife’s companionship and causing injury due to alleged adultery.
Benedicta clarified that she filed for divorce from Odekina due to issues related to his sexuality, not because of any affair.
She stated that her relationship with Daddy Freeze began during her lengthy divorce proceedings, which lasted 10 years, and not while she was still married to Odekina.

Responding to claims of infidelity, Benedicta said, “If being labeled an adulteress for starting a relationship with Daddy Freeze after a 12-year divorce process is what it takes, I will wear that tag with pride. I filed for divorce because of our differing sexual orientations, and any suggestion otherwise is misleading.”
She emphasized that her actions were in pursuit of personal happiness and for women in similar situations who feel constrained by lengthy divorce processes.
