Cristiano Ronaldo Breaks Down in Tears After Seeing Mother Cry Over His Penalty Miss Against Slovenia

Cristiano Ronaldo, the famous Portuguese soccer player, got very upset when he saw his mother crying. This happened after he missed a penalty kick against Slovenia in an important Euro 2024 game.

The game was part of the round of 16, which means it was a knockout match. Ronaldo, who used to play for Real Madrid, had a chance to score and put Portugal in the lead during extra time.

Even though he missed this chance, Portugal still won the game later by scoring more penalty kicks than Slovenia. During the game, Portugal’s coach Roberto Martinez was giving the team a pep talk.

Ronaldo looked up at the crowd and saw his 69-year-old mother, Dolores Aveiro, crying. This made Ronaldo start crying too, showing how much he cares about his mother’s feelings.

In the final penalty shootout, Slovenia’s players missed all three of their attempts to score.

On Portugal’s side, Ronaldo, Bruno Fernandes, and Bernardo Silva all scored their penalty kicks. This helped Portugal win the game and move on to the next round of the tournament.
