Cristian Roldan age: How old is Cristian Roldan? – Cristian Roldan, an American professional soccer player who plays as a midfielder for Major League Soccer club Seattle Sounders FC and the United States national team is 28 years. He was born on June 3, 1995, to Cesar Roldan, a Guatemalan father, and Ana Roldan, a Salvadoran mother in Artesia, California.

Roldan was named the 2013 Gatorade National Player of the Year in soccer while attending El Rancho High School in Pico Rivera, California.

He turned down proposals to join the academy teams of the LA Galaxy and Chivas USA, instead leading the El Rancho Dons to an unbeaten season with 26 wins.

In his junior year, he had 21 goals and 21 assists for El Rancho and also played for Union Independiente. He led El Rancho to a regional high school championship in 2012-13, scoring 54 goals and recording 30 assists.

Roldan was scouted by the University of Washington at a tournament in San Diego and played for the Huskies during his undergraduate career. Roldan appeared in 41 games for the Pac-12 champions in his two seasons of college soccer, scoring 10 goals and assisting seven others.

Roldan was voted Pac-12 Freshman of the Year in 2013, defeating future Sounders teammate Jordan Morris of Stanford.

Roldan left college early on January 8, 2015, to sign a Generation Adidas deal with Major League Soccer. He was projected to be selected early in the 2015 MLS SuperDraft, but Seattle Sounders FC took him late in the first round with the 16th overall pick.

As of July 15, 2023, Cristian has played in 290 games and scored 38 times.
