The new hearing date follows the completion of a Case Management Conference on July 25, 2024.
Justice Forson Agyapong, who is overseeing the case, has directed that LilWin be properly notified of the hearing and the court’s decisions through the usual channels.
The lawsuit, filed by actress Martha Ankomah, stems from defamatory remarks made by LilWin in a viral video. Ankomah is seeking damages for comments LilWin made about her, which she claims damaged her reputation.

The defamation suit was prompted by LilWin’s criticism of Ankomah’s reluctance to collaborate with Kumawood and his disparaging remarks about her views on recent Kumawood films.
The actor’s comments included harsh and unprintable language towards the actress.
Martha Ankomah, through her legal representatives, filed the lawsuit on February 15, 2024.
The suit demands GH¢5 million in damages for the defamatory statements and additional compensatory damages for harm to her reputation.
