In a heartwarming and private ceremony, Abby tied the knot with her fiancé, Josh Bowling, two years ago in November 2021. Abby and her twin sister, Brittany, were born conjoined at the torso, sharing a single body, with two heads side by side.

Below the waist, they have a shared bloodstream and all organs, including the intestine, bladder, and reproductive organs. Their parents, Patty and Mike Hensel, faced a difficult choice when the twins were born.

Separating them through surgery was high-risk, so they decided against it. Instead, they embraced their daughters’ uniqueness and raised them with love and care.

Despite their rare condition, they have led remarkable lives. Now 34 years old, they work as fifth-grade teachers in their hometown of Minnesota.

The wedding was an intimate affair, witnessed by their extended family. Although the couple kept it private, glimpses of their special day emerged through photos and videos.

Since their nuptials, Abby, Brittany, and Josh have built a life together in Minnesota. Josh, a United States Army veteran, has seamlessly become part of their unique family.
