Ujah is the fifth and youngest British sprinter to break the ten-second barrier in the 100 meters. As of June 2014, he is ranked first on the all-time European under-20 list, and third on both the all-time British and all-time European under-23 lists for the event, with the best time of 9.96 (with a +1.4 tailwind) set in Hengelo, Netherlands on June 8, 2014.
He won the European Junior Championships in the 100 meters in 2013. Ujah won silver in the 100 meters in the 2011 Commonwealth Youth Games[2] while he was a teenager.
