Chukwuma Innocent Ideh Donates N1.2m to Families of Late Makeup Artist and Soundman Who Passed Away with Junior Pope

In the wake of the tragic boat accident that claimed the lives of actor Junior Pope and two young creatives—an esteemed soundman and a talented makeup artist—filmmaker Chukwuma Innocent Ideh has stepped forward with a heartfelt gesture of compassion and support. 

Following the devastating news of Junior Pope’s passing, it was revealed that two additional individuals—both integral members of the filmmaking community—had tragically lost their lives in the same incident. The soundman and makeup artist, who had been returning from a movie shoot in Asaba, met their untimely demise when their boat capsized in the Anam River in Anambra state.

In a display of empathy and solidarity, Chukwuma Innocent Ideh made a significant contribution to alleviate the financial burden faced by the grieving families.

He donated the sum of N500,000 to the account of the soundman and provided a donation of N700,000 to the family of the deceased makeup artist.

The director’s compassionate gesture garnered attention on social media, where screenshots of the monetary transfers circulated among fans and followers.
