Chuck Morris Lotus Drummer: What happened to Chuck Morris and his son?

Chuck Morris is a musician best known for playing percussion for the band Lotus.

Morris, 47, and his son went lost on Beaver Lake, a reservoir in the state’s northwest, and they were first reported missing last Thursday, according to CBS Colorado.

Officials from the regional wildlife department and volunteer rescuers from the Cajun Coast Search and Rescue Team were enlisted by the Benton County Sheriff’s Office to assist in surveying the vast lake, which spans more than 31,000 acres.

By Tuesday, other Lotus members reported that Morris and his kid were believed dead, and what had started as a search and rescue operation had changed course to center on recovery.

Lotus is an electronic jam band with members headquartered in Philadelphia and Colorado.
