Charles David Liddell was born on December 17, 1969, in Santa Barbara, California, United States of America. In college, Chuck Liddell wrestled at Cal Poly, where he attended from 1988 to 19993, and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business/accounting in 1995.

Chuck Liddell’s rematch with Tito Ortiz at UFC 66 on December 30, 2006, was the most financially successful UFC event up to that point.

Chuck Liddell defeated Wanderlei Silva on October 23, 2007, at UFC 79 via unanimous decision. Their fight was voted 2007’s Fight of the Year at the first annual World Mixed Martial Arts Awards and became Liddell’s final victory in MMA.
