Veteran actress, Chioma Akpotha, has shown her excitement as the movie she featured in, Omo Ghetto: The Saga crosses N500 million mark in the box office.

The Cinema Exhibitors of Nigeria(CEAN) announced that the movie has broken Nollywood’s box office record with revenue of N501, 449, 050 after securing the topmost position for 6 weeks in a row.
Celebrating this news on her social media page, Chioma shared a video of herself dancing and attached the caption, “When the movie you are in crosses the 500 million mark, SHMOOD”.
Omo Ghetto: The Saga is a 2020 Nigerian gangster comedy film co-directed by Funke Akindele and JJC Skillz. The film stars Funke Akindele, Chioma Akpotha, Nancy Isime and Eniola Badmus. The movie has its theatrical release on Christmas day, December 25, 2020. The became a box office success and surpassed the Fate of Alakada as the highest-grossing Nigerian film for the year 2020.
