Chelsea’s Diego Moreira Joins Strasbourg on a Permanent Deal

Chelsea promising winger Diego Moreira has made a permanent move to RC Strasbourg, a club also owned by the owners of the Chelsea Football Club.

Diego Moreira is a Portugal Under-21 international who has the potential to become a top winger in the near future. He joined Chelsea from Benfica on a free transfer in the summer of 2023.

Despite Moreira’s potential, he made only one first-team appearance for the Blues, debuting in the Carabao Cup against AFC Wimbledon.

After a brief loan spell at Olympique Lyon, where he played nine first-team games, Diego Moreira returned to Chelsea. He primarily contributed to the Under-21 side of Chelsea.

Chelsea expressed gratitude for his efforts and wished him success as he embarks on a new chapter at Strasbourg.
