Chelsea Complete Signing Of Aston Villa’s Omai Kellyman

Chelsea has completed the signing of teenage midfielder Omari Kellyman from Aston Villa.

The 18-year-old Omari Kellyman  has signed a six-year contract with the Blues, including an option for an additional year, and will join his new teammates for pre-season training next month.

Omari Kellyman, an attacking midfielder, began his career at Derby County, spending ten years with the club before moving to Aston Villa in 2022. At Aston Villa, Omari Kellyman featured for the Under-18s and Under-21s.

Omari Kellyman made his first-team debut in August 2023 during a Europa Conference League victory over Hibernian and went on to make five more senior appearances.

Expressing his excitement, Omari Kellyman said, “It is fantastic to be standing here as a Chelsea player. It’s a massive club with an amazing history, so it is great to join. It is a dream come true for sure.”

As an England U19 international, Omari Kellyman is poised to continue his development at Chelsea, where he will aim to make a significant impact in the future.
