Charlton Athletic has finalized a deal to bring Luke Berry onboard, offering the midfielder an opportunity for regular playing time in League One.

Luke Berry, who featured sporadically during Luton Town’s first Premier League season with 17 appearances, only started twice, struggling to secure a consistent role in the team.
Luke Berry’s subsequent season in Luton’s Championship promotion campaign saw him play 27 times, primarily as a substitute, starting just four matches.

Charlton Athletic announced Luke Berry’s signing in a statement that reads: “Charlton Athletic are delighted to announce the signing of experienced midfielder Luke Berry, who will join the club following the expiration of his contract at Luton Town.”
“Berry has put pen to paper on a two-year contract, with a club option of an additional year, reuniting with Nathan Jones and becoming the Addicks’ second summer signing following the arrival of Will Mannion.”
Luke Berry has revealed that he is happy to join Charlton Athletic.
