Born on October 30, 1992, in St Kilda, Melbourne, Australia, Vickers attended RMIT University, and graduated with a degree in Theater Arts.
Vickers later relocated to London, England, where he attended the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
Vickers launched his acting career with the Netflix series Medici, in 2018. Afterwards, he appeared in the comedy-drama film Palm Beach, and in the Douglas Ray thriller film, Death in Shoreditch.
In 2022, Vickers appeared as the character Sauron in the film, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.
Appearing in the movie required him going on a hiking exercise for days, laerning to freedive and doing 5 to 10k runs weekly.
