Pep Guardiola’s team, which included stars like Haaland and Jack Grealish, faced a well-prepared Celtic side that benefited from their advanced pre-season training.

Celtic opened the scoring with a goal from Nicolas-Gerrit Kuhn. Manchester City quickly responded with an equalizer from Oscar Bobb. However, Celtic regained the lead with goals from Kuhn and Kyogo Furuhashi, making it 3-1 by halftime.

Máximo Perrone, introduced by Guardiola at halftime, scored almost immediately after the restart, following a positive run from Bobb.

Bobb then assisted Haaland, who was captaining City, to head in the third goal, leveling the score at 3-3 briefly.

The match was decided when substitute Luis Palma scored Celtic’s fourth goal, sealing their victory. Manchester City will continue their U.S. tour with upcoming matches against Chelsea and Barcelona.

Celtic will also play against Chelsea on Saturday as they prepare to start their Scottish Premiership campaign at home against Kilmarnock on August 4.
