Iranian-American actress, Catherine Bell, became famous with her role as Lieutenant Colonel Sarah Mackenzie in a television series called JAG from 1997 to 2005. She was supposed to have a minor role in the series but ended up grabbing a lead role. She is also popular for playing Denise Sherwood in the series Army Wives from 2007 to 2013.

She was once married to Adam Beason but got divorced in 2011 a year after they welcomed their son Ronan Beason. She met her husband on the set of the film Death Becomes Her where she played a nude body double for the heroine Isabella Rossellini. They began courting in 1992 and finally tied the knot on May 8 1994. Her husband is an actor who became and production assistant as well as writes screenplays. Bell has since been with her lesbian partner Brooke Daniells.
