Nigerian singer, Burna Boy, has disclosed that he had an emotional weekend due to the massive love his people showed him during his visit to his home State.

During the weekend, the Rivers State Governor, Nyesome Wike organised a homecoming concert for Burna Boy to celebrate his massive win at the just ended Grammy Awards ceremony. According to the governor, Burna Boy made him and the nation proud hence, he will do all he can to support him.

Sharing a stunning photo of himself on his Instagram page. Posting this photo, Burna Boy attached the caption, “An Emotional Weekend #PHCHOMECOMING”.
Addressing his fans during his performance at the concert, he stated that the event was the greatest honour he has ever received in his life. Burna Boy stated that although he has received a lot of awards worldwide, the love hits differently when it is coming from his own people.
