November 24 has been a good day for Burna Boy and his fans with many award nominations coming on their side.

Today alone he has received award nominations from different award nominations including the prestigious Grammy. He was first nominated at the Dutch Edison Awards for the “Best World Album” category. He becomes the first-ever Nigerian to be nominated for the award.
He was again nominated alongside with Tiwa Savage, Davido, Fireboy DML, Rema, Master KG, ADekunle Gold, NSG, AFRO B, Wizkid, Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale for the Best International Act in the MOBO Awards 2020.

The singer was nominated in the Best Global Music Album category for his latest body of work, ‘Twice As Tall’. He was nominated alongside American, Brooklyn-based afrobeat band Antibalas; a group of Tuareg musicians, Tinariwen; British-Indian composer, Anoushka Shankar and Brazilian-American singer, Bebel Gilbert.

He has become the first Nigerian Artist to have back-to-back Grammy nominations. African Giant was up for Best World Album and now Twice As Tall is up for Best Global Album
