Nigerian singer, Burna Boy, has joined the league of celebrities across the world to mourn the death of US Rapper, DMX

DMX died a week after suffering a heart attack at the age of 50. His family confirmed he died at White Plains Hospital in New York on Friday, April 9, 2021.

In a statement issued by his family to announce his death, they described him as a fighter as he fought to the very end. They stated that his music inspired countless fans across the world and his iconic legacy will live on forever.
Reacting to the news of his death, Burna Boy took to his Twitter page to pen down a message to mourn him. He said; “RIP DMX. Thank you for being the soundtrack of my childhood”.

Rapper DMX was one of America’s most successful stars of the late 1990s and 2000s whose achievements earned him a place in music history when he became the first artist to see his first five albums go to number 1 in the Billboard Charts.
