Beninese singer-songwriter and singer, Angelique Kidjo, has defended Nigerian singer, Burna Boy after people claimed that he is arrogant.

Some netizens have described Burna Boy as a person with an arrogant attitude however, in an interview with Angelique Kidjo on Smooth FM, explained that when one is talented they have to be humble but it does not mean they should apologise for whatever they do.
Angelique Kidjo said;
“When you’re talented, yes, you have to have humility but that doesn’t mean you’re going to walk on yourself and apologize. For what? I’m good at what I do. You don’t like it? Sorry! If it was an African-American person having that attitude, nobody would say anything…”
Meanwhile, few days after Burna Boy turned 30, he questioned his fans if there are some traits of being 30 years and above as 24 hours into his birthday, his joints are squeaking.
