Buhari Directs All Corps Members To Enrol In National Health Insurance Scheme

President Buhari has instructed all National Youth Service Corps to enrol in the National Health Insurance Health Scheme.

Brigadier-General Shuaibu Ibrahim (Director-General,NYSC) revealed this directive in a meeting with bureau chiefs, media executives and correspondents in Abuja.

In his presentation, he expressed gratitude to the security agencies and other stakeholders for their continuous support to the scheme.

Also, he stated that a concluded arrangement has been met with the NHIS for the enrolment of corps members into the NHIS in line with a presidential directive. He concluded by saying that they have also mapped out huge resources on critical health needs of corps members, including footing of medical bills.
