Brighton and Hove Albion have completed the signing of 19-year-old winger Yankuba Minteh from Newcastle United on undisclosed terms.

Yankuba Minteh has signed a contract that extends until June 2029, securing his long-term future with Brighton and Hove Albion.
Yankuba Minteh arrives after a highly successful loan spell with Eredivisie runners-up Feyenoord, where he netted ten goals and provided six assists in 27 league appearances.

Brighton’s technical director, David Weir, expressed his excitement about the acquisition, stating, “Yankuba is a young talent that has attracted a lot of interest, so we’re delighted to welcome him to the club”
Weir added: “He is an exciting attacking player with incredible speed. He had a very impressive campaign with Feyenoord. Now we will give him the time and support he needs to ensure that he settles in.”
Yankuba Minteh’s addition is seen as a significant boost for Brighton and Hove Albion in terms of their squad depth.
