The FBI has said that human remains suspected to be that of Brian Laundrie, a person of interest in the murder of Gabby Petito, have been found in the Myakkhatchee Park, Florida.

The FBI also found items belonging to Brian Laundrie.

Laundrie family attorney Steven Bertolino said in a text to The Associated Press that after a brief search off a trail that Brian frequented, some articles belonging to Brian were found.
Bertolino added that law enforcement is conducting a more thorough investigation of the area.
Myakkhatchee Park remains closed as the investigation continues.
