Yusif Sulemana, the Member of Parliament for Bole-Bamboi, has renewed his appeal to Interior Minister Henry Quartey to implement effective measures to halt the wave of serial killings in the Bole area.

In a recent statement, Sulemana expressed deep concern over the escalating incidents of serial murders, which have instilled fear among residents to the extent of imposing a self-imposed curfew.
He highlighted that the fear of potential attacks and killings has compelled people to retire early to their homes, disrupting normal daily routines.
The MP emphasized that the ongoing mysterious deaths in the region are increasingly alarming and require urgent intervention. He urged swift action from the authorities to address the situation and ensure the safety and security of residents.
The community of Bole, located in the Savannah Region, has been gripped by a series of gruesome killings where victims are discovered mutilated and with missing body parts, left abandoned in public areas.

During a parliamentary session, Yusif Sulemana called for the Interior Minister to provide a comprehensive briefing to the House on steps being taken to apprehend the perpetrators and restore calm to the affected communities.
Echoing similar concerns, Abdul Rasheed Hassan Pelpuo, MP for Wa Central, drew attention to a parallel situation in the Wa Municipality. He urged both the police and the Interior Ministry to act promptly to prevent further loss of lives.
Supporting the urgent need for government action, Frank Annor Dompreh, MP for Nsawam-Adoagyir Constituency and Majority Chief Whip, stressed the gravity of the situation and called upon the Speaker of Parliament to compel the Interior Minister to appear before Parliament and provide updates on efforts to address the alarming trend of killings.
