Bobby Bowden was an American football coach who was best known for his accomplishments with the Florida State Seminoles. He coached the Seminoles from 1976 to 2009.

Bobby Bowden is survived by his wife of 72 years, Julia Ann Estock, and their six children and eight grandchildren.

Bobby Bowden Cause of death
Coach Bobby Bowden tested positive for COVID-19 in October 2020. He revealed a month before his death that he has been diagnosed with a terminal medical condition.
He said: “I’ve always tried to serve God’s purpose for my life, on and off the field, and I am prepared for what is to come.
“My wife Ann and our family have been life’s greatest blessing. I am at peace.”
Bowden’s battle with COVID-19 followed hospitalizations for a calf infection and pneumonia.

According to the SUN, Bowden has also had painful back and hip problems.
After his death, his son, Terry, said his father had pancreatic cancer.
