The reunion for Season 8 was supposed to happen on June 24th, 2024, as announced by Multichoice. However, it was unexpectedly canceled.
Mercy Eke, a former BBNaija winner, revealed the cancellation during a Q&A session with her fans but did not explain why it was called off.

Recently, the official Instagram page for BBNaija gave fans something to look forward to. They posted a teaser encouraging everyone to get ready for Season 9 in July, though they did not reveal the exact date.
The post simply said, “ONE SUNDAY IN JULY. GET READY,” with a photo captioned, “What’s better than One? Mark your calendars! #BBNaijaS9.”
Fans are now eagerly waiting for more details and the return of their favorite show.
