“Wahala,” which means trouble or drama in Nigerian Pidgin English, is a vibrant explosion of sound. The track masterfully fuses Kenyan-inspired drum patterns with South African log drum rhythms and infectious Nigerian percussion, creating an addictive, dance-driven beat.

Produced by the talented Remy Baggins, the song celebrates beautiful women and is guaranteed to get listeners moving.

The collaboration between these top African talents has resulted in a musical ode to the continent, paying homage to the diverse sonics heard across Africa.

Bien described the process as seamless, stating, “Any time a King from the East meets a King from the West, it is ‘Wahala’.” Adekunle Gold echoed this sentiment, adding, “Making this song with my brother was such an enjoyable process.”

Bien, one-quarter of the acclaimed Kenyan Afro-Pop band Sauti Sol, has been a defining force in the East African pop scene for nearly a decade. His debut solo album, Alusa, Why Are You Topless?, has already become an East African phenomenon, amassing over 70 million streams and topping charts.

The deluxe edition of the album features five new tracks, including collaborations with African superstars like Fally Ipupa and Rayvanny.
