Netizens have sent a word of caution to Davido to be mindful of how he promotes his slang e choke as it is a negative word.

This advice comes after Davido hinted at plans to copyright the slang because the manner it is being used by people in their daily chats is getting out of hands. According to the fan identified as Daniel Regha, E choke is a negative statement but a lot of people are being misled because they believe is a slang.

The fan added that Davido should be cautious of how he encourages the use of the slang as words are powerful and it might manifest.
