Big Brother Naija ‘No Loose Guard’ contestant, Chinwe, has denied claims that she sponsored her boyfriend, Zion, to enter the show. The denial comes after a heated exchange between the two contestants last Thursday, during which Chinwe accused Zion of failing to support her in a dispute with fellow housemates, Onyeka and Chizoba.

During a conversation with DJ Flo on Thursday, Chinwe reportedly claimed that she had funded both her and Zion’s entry into the BBNaija house. She also expressed regret for choosing to enter the show with Zion instead of her best friend. This statement quickly became a point of controversy among the housemates and viewers.

However, the issue was brought to light during Sunday night’s eviction show when host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu questioned Chinwe about her alleged sponsorship of Zion. “Why did you say you sponsored Zion to the house?” Ebuka asked.
Chinwe firmly denied making such a statement, clarifying that her words were misunderstood. She explained that she never claimed to have financially sponsored Zion’s entry into the show, but rather that she was a source of encouragement for him, especially since he wasn’t initially enthusiastic about joining the BBNaija competition.
