Big Brother Naija ‘Shine Ya Eye’ housemate, Pere Egbi, has revealed how his marriage with his ex-wife, Pamela Heoma, ended.

Pere and his ex-wife were happily married until 2011 when mistrust set in based on accusations of infidelity which never existed. According to Maria’s love interest, his wife thought he was in a relationship with his best friend who also happened to be an actress.
He revealed that being an actor, he was always in the same movie project with his best friend which generated issues in his marriage with the trust of his wife broken.
Pere explained that he introduced his best friend to his wife, however, she never liked her with a high suspicion of them having an affair due to their closeness. To him, he never cheated on his wife even though he found himself in circles with his female best friend.
Pere attributed the cause of their divorce to a kissing scene his wife witnessed amid a movie shoot. He divulged that Pamela once decided to follow him to a movie shoot where his female best friend became his wife in the scene. According to the script given, they were supposed to kiss which happened. His upon witnessing this used that as a confirmation to her suspicion and packed out from their marital home when he traveled to shoot a movie.
His words read:
“I got divorced from my ex-wife because she thought I was cheating on her with my best friend. I never cheated on her.
“I and best friend( A female) shot a lot of films in America, we’re always on a project together but found out we could not date each other.
“When I got married, I introduced my best friend to my wife but my ex-wife didn’t like her.
“One day, my wife followed me to a movie shoot where my best friend played my wife. While we were shooting, we kissed and this got my ex-wife angry.
“After this, our marriage became unstable, then I traveled for another shoot and came back to an empty house. My ex-wife had packed her things out of the house.
“I went to her family house and begged her to stay but she filed for a divorce,”
