BBNaija Begins Search for New Housemates Ahead of Season 9

Big Brother Naija has begun the search for new housemates ahead of season 9. Big Brother will start accepting applications from Wednesday, 27th March 2024. This was announced by organisers in a post shared on Instagram.

The post read:

“Exciting News! Biggie is back for Season 9 auditions with a twist! The audition requires two people. This year, it’s a search for Dynamic Duos that love the show and can turn up the heat in Biggie’s house!”

BBNaija is a Nigerian reality competition television series, based on the Big Brother television franchise, in which, contestants live in an isolated house and compete for a large cash prize and other material prizes, at the end of the show by avoiding being evicted from the house by viewers who vote for their favourite housemates to remain in the show.

The first season of the show first aired on M-Net and DStv Channel 37 from 5 March to 4 June 2006. The voting results were verified by the auditing company of Alexander-Forbes.

Last season, Illebaye won the All-Star season.
