Evicted housemate of Big Brother Naija Season 6, Maria, has disclosed that her ‘best friend’ in the house, Liquorose, always told Emmanuel how uninterested she is in a romantic relationship.

According to Maria, Rose always made it known to Emmanuel that they were nothing but friends. She expressed that, Emmanuel’s affection for Liquorose wasn’t that apparent and conclusive, therefore, there was some kind of back-and-forth on what they really have. However, Emmanuel was always trying to put a name to what they share.
“I feel like Emmanuel was playing safe because there were so many times that he asked Liquo like “So what are we? Cos I’d like to define that.” But Liquo was like “no, we’re nothing we’re just friends.” So I feel like he wants to play safe with his pride or something,” Maria disclosed during an Instagram Live interview.
Some people have also expressed that Emmanuel’s affection for Liquorose is nothing but pretense and that he’s using her to enlarge his fan base. However, during the beginning of the competition, Emmanuel once disclosed that he was crushing on Liquorose even before they both entered the competition, therefore, it was a smooth sail for him to be in one house with her.
