Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich are closing in on signing 21-year-old Xavi Simons, as the Dutch attacking midfielder no longer wants to play for Paris Saint-Germain.

According to Sky Sport in Germany, Bayern Munich have reportedly agreed personal terms with Xavi Simons’ representatives and are optimistic about landing the Netherlands international this summer.

Bayern Munich will now negotiate terms with French powerhouse PSG, as Xavi Simons is still under contract with them until 2027.

Xavi Simons had an impressive 2023/2024 season on loan at RB Leipzig from PSG, scoring 10 goals and providing 13 assists across all competitions. His stellar performances attracted attention from several top European clubs.
Xavi Simons has reportedly informed the Ligue 1 champions that he does not wish to return to Paris.
RB Leipzig remain hopeful that Xavi Simons will continue with them for the upcoming 2024/2025 season as he will decide his future after the Euro 2024 tournament in Germany.
