The 2022 Ballon d’Or was the 66th annual ceremony of the Ballon d’Or, presented by France Football, recognising the best footballers in the world in the 2021-22 season.

The nominees for the ceremony were announced on August 12, 2022. For the first time in the history of the award, it will be given based on the result of the season (2021-2022) instead of the calendar year.
