According to media reports, Jean-Clair Todibo is a target for both Premier League clubs, but Aston Villa’s offer of UEFA Champions League football gives them an edge.
Jean-Clair Todibo, the 24-year-old former Barcelona player, has revitalized his career at OGC Nice after an unsteady period at Barcelona.

Joining Barcelona from Toulouse as a promising teenager in January 2019, he struggled to secure a regular spot and went on several loan spells before settling at Nice.
Since then, Jean-Clair Todibo has made 136 appearances for the French club, contributing two goals and three assists, and earning recognition at the national level, although he missed out on the UEFA Euro 2024 squad.
Aston Villa’s need for a center-back, following Clement Lenglet’s return to Barcelona and Calum Chambers’ uncertain future, makes Todibo a key target.
