The fallout from that dinner led to Davido unfollowing Portable on Instagram.
Portable took to his official Instagram page on Sunday to announce the release of his new song, which was initially intended to feature a verse from Davido. However, in his post, Portable revealed that Davido had not fulfilled his promise, prompting him to release the track on his own.
“Na who help you be your helper; who promises you fit change mind. As @davido no gree give me verse on this song, I don kuku drop myself. Star. Don’t beg to shine. Who go help you no go stress you,” Portable wrote, making it clear that he was moving forward without Davido’s contribution.
